I was in Lupus, Missouri this weekend for the wedding of my good friends, Becky Dahm and Kris Simmons. Without going into great detail, it was a great time, a great vibe, and a weekend full of good music. A friend posted this clip of me playing Ben Harper’s “Steal My Kisses” with long time friend and mentor, Mike Robertson.
My name is Tim Behrens. I have been an acoustic singer/songwriter for the past seventeen years. Some times it’s been as an avid hobbyist. Other times, it’s been as someone who felt deeply obsessed, almost to the point of panic. Whenever I stray away from it, something always brings me back and it is the closest thing I’ve ever felt to a sense of grand purpose, that one thing I was meant to do with my life. Most times, when I have strayed, it’s been to graphic design and digital art, my second passion. I am learning that the two can co-exist and am hoping that this blog will be an outlet for both.
